This studio was fantastic. Spacious, clean, great location & lovely hosts. We used this a base for a day of touring the local wineries. On the 2nd day we took it easy and made the most of the accommodation. Was great to wander up to the deck cafe to have breakfast, then have a tasting of the local wines at the cellar door then back to the studio sit back out back and take in the serenity of the location. A couple of horses wandered past out back fence while we were having a wine sitting out on the patio area. Was a great place for us and exactly what we wanted to relax and unwind

We had a lovely stay in Lovedale for the weekend. A beautiful little dog friendly studio to serve as our home away from home. A stunning property with lots of animals on-site to say hello to. The studio was extremely comfortable and opened up directly to the outdoor space so the dog could wander within eye sight. Bathroom accessories were all provided and there is an incredible water pressure in the shower.

The studio near the Duck coffee is a very nice place to stay if you want to visit the Hunter Valley. Location is great, Bed is super comfy, shower super clean and has a nice little outdoor terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast listening to Mother Nature surrounding you. We relaxed well in the Studio and were very nicely welcomed. I recommend the place which is of good value.

Accommodation was private and had all the amenities we required and was good value for money. Convenience to Gartelmann winery was also another major benefit.

We loved the space as we bought our dog. It had a DVD player, microwave and coffee machine which made it easy and comfortable. The location was fantastic especially having the cafe up the driveway yet a lot of privacy at the cottage. It was a very cute little cottage.

We had a wonderful relaxing time. The location is perfect being on the same property as a fantastic cafe (that has Gluten Free options) and a cellar door, and easy reach to everything in the Hunter Valley. The studio is spacious and our dog loved the fully fenced backyard.

We loved the cottage feel and the space and privacy we had. It was tidy and clean with a coffee station and basic amenities which we liked. We had our dog travelling with us and he loved the outdoor space. We were really happy with the cosy, tidy cute little cottage.

Perfect for a weekend away. The studio has everything you need and more, it is in a great location and having the café on site is perfect for a Sunday breakfast! Would definitely stay again :)

I had a lovely stay at the apartment in Lovedale. The place was clean and very dog friendly - with a great fenced yard for the doggo. I felt very welcomed from the moment I arrived and would highly recommend.

Arriving late on a Friday winter night, to welcoming lights and a warm fire, set the tone for the weekend! The studio is a perfect retreat for couples, especially if you need to recharge! You have privacy and great views of the garden. The accomodation is very comfortable and I would highly recommend. Everyone at Gartelmanns was very friendly. If having breakfast at The Deck, definitely book as busy on weekends. We will return!

My husband and I had a great couple of days away staying at Gartelman’s. The hosts are lovely and we couldn’t have asked for me So peaceful, and great location to explore some of the more boutique/smaller vineyards in the area We hope to be back soon!

A fantastic place to stay to unwind and recharge. The cellar door is only a short walk away and the wines are delicious. The complementary bottle on arrival is a lovely touch. The studio has more than enough room and is very spacious ,plus the covered outdoor area to sit and relax in is fantastic. The studio is spotless and hosts are wonderful plus there is the added bonus of having a restaurant on site with a superb breakfast and lunch menu. 10/10 couldn’t fault it at all .

We loved staying at this studio on Gartelmanns wines. It's so comfortable, the fireplace is perfect on a cold night and had an enclosed yard for our dog. If you're lucky enough to be there when Gartelmanns do a locals night you must go! The food is amazing. We will stay herre any time we are next in the Hunter Valley. It is so great.

Gartelman Studio is the perfect central location in the Hunter, a beautiful setting, peaceful & quiet, removed from the major tourist hub even though only 5 to 10 minutes away to Pokolbin. The studio is very organised for all seasons, a very comfortable bed & lounge, a great bathroom area, and a large TV with internet access. Kitchen facilities ample for snacking & easy meals. The Cellar door is walking distance with an amazing cafe out the back- too easy! Highly recommend for a relaxing comfortable stay, thank you!

Great communications which were timely and we loved the suggestions for things to do in the area. We wound up doing several of them and having a great time! And the unexpected late checkout was great for us as well as the offer to extend at a discounted rate. Had we been able to, we definitely would have!

Great location! Jan was very welcoming, even putting the aircon on before we arrived so the studio was cool. The studio is clean, has all that you need to be able to cook, if you choose (Electric fry pan, microwave, fridge and basic kitchen utensils). The back patio has a nice view and you are able to watch the 2 friendly horses, kangaroos and other wildlife. The Deck cafe is excellent as is the cellar door, all the staff are really friendly. I would stay here again.
