The charming cottage, equipped with a full kitchen, cool air-conditioning and free WiFi, is the perfect spot to truly unwind while visiting the Hunter Valley. There is so much wildlife you will be staying with including kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, kookaburras, lyrebirds and more!

Enjoy the warm summer air without the burn by relaxing out on the covered verandah and cook up a delicious meal on the BBQ! You won't be far from the action, as a short drive will take you through the picturesque region and to the doorstep of wine country.

Facilities: Wallaby Cottage is a self-contained house with three bedrooms and an open plan lounge, dining, kitchen area which can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. There are 2 queen-sized double beds, and a bunk room equipped with tri-bunk and single. The kitchen is fully equipped and tea and coffee, linen and towels are provided for your stay. A shuttle bus for concerts picks up from nearby.

Additional Guests
For a group larger than 8, this wonderful property has additional accommodation for 9 in the neighbouring Wedge-tail Loft. Bring your pets - Wallaby Cottage is pet friendly.

All reservations operate under a strict No-Party & excessive noise policy as this property is in a residential area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy.

Thanks for a lovely weekend away at Wallaby Cottage - we loved being on such a quiet property surrounded by the farm animals. We needed to ask some questions of the Weekenda team while we were there, and received helpful and quick responses. Booking process was easy - will definitely visit again next time we're planning a trip to the Hunter!

Beds were comfy and big. Well stocked kitchen. Washing machine and dryer available. Nice hot water and plenty of it.

A beautiful and relaxing secluded setting, perfect for having breakfast on the verandah in the morning. The fire in the living room made all the difference on the chilly evenings. Overall a lovely place to stay!

This little place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner met us onsite on arrival and made us feel at home. The fireplace is fantastic in the same room as the TV. The boys loved it. Would recommended to anyone looking for a hunter trip with the usual price tag.

We loved our stay at Wallaby Cottage. Just my wife, myself and our 2 Hungarian Vizsla dogs. The cottage decor was simple but clean, cosy and comfy. The pot belly fireplace kept us warm at night and the sunshine bathed the balcony by day.

Great little spot in the Bush but close enough to the main attractions. We did a wine tour and they picked us up from the Ellalong pub, a 5 min drive away. Saw roo's, lots of bird life, tawny frogmouths included. Cottage was clean, quiet and comfortable

A really lovely spot. Cottage is set amongst the bushland giving you that true feeling of holidays. Well presented and maintained, we prefer using this for work trips than a stuffy hotel. The agent Weekenda is helpful and very easy to deal with. A++++
