This stunning property has a long history in Wangi Wangi and is rich in character. Built in 1924, it was originally a guest house for holiday makers visiting Lake View Baths. Whilst they no longer exist, you can still appreciate what drew visitors to this picturesque peninsula. Whether you’re fishing, kayaking, sailing, bushwalking or simply strolling along the lakeside pathway to the village, you’re sure to get the downtime you need.
Accommodation includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms (two are ensuites), and all have separation. Rooms are tastefully decorated to reflect the period of the house, yet you’ll have all the modern conveniences you need to make this a place you’ll fall in love with. Some of the other features include a large spa bat, reverse cycle air-conditioning, balcony for outdoor dining overlooking the views as well and a relaxing sunroom. You can choose to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, use the BBQ, or walk to one of the many great dining options nearby. Kids are sorted too with play equipment nearby at the café, where you are sure to meet a duck or two along the way.
Important note for party planners:
Unfortunately this is not the property for you. It is in a quiet retiree neighbourhood, so a hens/bucks/schoolies type celebration is not appropriate. We can easily determine if the house rule of “No parties or events” is disrespected, and this means additional charges and/or eviction will apply, which everyone wants to avoid. If you are unsure, please enquire before booking.
Pools: If the property has a Swimming Pool then it will be open for swimming for the September NSW School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays has completed.
Fires and Firewood : If the property has a Wood fireplace or Firepit then firewood will be provided after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays has commenced.
Guest Registration : Before guests are able to access the property, we will require an online ID check (scan drivers license) and also a visual Credit Check (scan credit card). The names on the ID and CC must match the name of the guest. The Guest Registration Document that we ask the guest to sign is a PCI compliant, encrypted and totally secure and trusted process, now used by 75,000 guests. This process is consistent and similar to what Hotels require for for ID prior to allowing access to a room.
Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2021.
