Absolute waterfront studio just 3 metres to the water. Recently renovated, this waterfront Studio provides stunning views over the Lake. With its own jetty, you can bring your boat along, or just try your luck at fishing for bream, flathead etc.
You just need to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, and do as much as you want or as little as
you want. You can just sit and watch the boats cruise by, and the pelicans come into land on the jetty and in front of the studio.
The studio can sleep up to 4 people, 1 queen size bed and 2 pull out single beds. There are ceiling fans for the circulation. A kitchen with the usual modern conveniences and also a new fridge, oven, microwave. Inside there is also 55” led TV/Blue Ray player and docking station.
There is a gas BBQ undercover for those who love to BBQ by the waters edge and also sun lounges to sit and relax on.
A combined toilet/laundry room with washing machine and dryer, undercover clothesline are available for your use. Ironing board and iron are also available.

The Private jetty to the property allows you easy access to tie your boat to or enjoy some of the best fishing in Lake Macquarie. Please note this is communally shared between guest in the studio and main house if booked separately.
Directions & Things to do
Just over 1 hours drive from the Wahroonga entrance to the freeway and you will be
at the doorstep at Fishing Point for your relaxing breakaway. Fishing Point is situated
between Rathmines and Wangi Wangi. You are just a short drive from Rathmines local
shops which has an IGA, newsagency, bottleshop, pharmacy, ATM and service station.
You are 10 minutes drive from Toronto which has an Aldi, Coles or Woolworths and all
your other local shops.
There is a public boat ramp approximately 1 km away.
Lake Macquarie is the largest salt water Lake in Australia. Lake Macquarie is an aquatic
playground, perfect for a relaxing holiday. You are able to water ski, swim, fish, golf,
tennis, lawn bowls and much more. Close by at Awaba, you can bike ride on the BMX
tracks and do the downhill runs for those who dare!
The Hunter Valley is not far away is you wish to try some new wines.
Important note for party planners:
Unfortunately this is not the property for you. This home located in a quiet neighbourhood, so a hens/bucks/schoolies type celebration is not appropriate. We can easily determine if the house rule of “No parties or events” is disrespected, and this means additional charges and/or eviction will apply, which everyone wants to avoid. If you are unsure, please enquire before booking.
*Important Advice: Any guest wishing to fish in the waters of Lake Macquarie must comply with the relevant laws as defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1994. This includes (but is not limited to), holding a fishing license where necessary, knowing and respecting bag & size limits and not fishing in protected waters. Please note that many areas of Lake Macquarie house Razor Clams - please don't take risks and always wear solid footwear when walking through water or playing on shoreline rocks. Any guest intending to use crab pots are reminded to not place them within the vicinity of any moored vessel on the Lake. Pots can move in lake tidal waters & the wind and can cause stressful and extremely costly damage to our neighbours boats. Crab pot lines easily become wrapped around props and keels as well as mooring lines. When this happens, it is not a simple matter of removing the crab pot line, it can cost up to $20000 in repairs to the damaged equipment on the boat. Guests may be held liable against a damage claim so a clear reminder to be wary of placement and at all times to respect neighbouring property.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.
Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.
Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO
Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - to help reduce wastage, we supply a single bottle of 3in1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. In addition, guests are advised to bring their own personal preferred bathroom products/amenities.
Fires and Firewood: Internal wood fireplaces and outdoor fire pits only operate after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays in line with NSW state fire restrictions. Please note: we will normally supply enough firewood, kindling & fire-starters for between 1-2 nights of your stay. For guests wishing to have additional fires, we suggest BYO Firewood, Kindling, and Starters which can be easily purchased from the local service stations.
No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behavior.
Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.
Cameras and Noise Monitoring: Please note that it is highly likely that we have installed a WiFi Security Camera at the Front Entrance (and sometimes rear of the property) We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2022/2023
Guest Registration / ID Check : Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.
Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'
