Located just eight minutes from the Hunter Expressway, Block Eight lies at the doorway to the Hunter Valley wine region. The property is in a secluded area of the Valley and surrounded National Park and agricultural land with commanding views out to the Barrington Tops.
There are 15 acres of grapevines, 10 acres of olives, three large dams, natural bushland areas and wide-open fields. Our views stretch behind to the Brokenback Range and forward to the Great Dividing Range and Barrington Tops.
Block Eight is also home to scores of kangaroos and wallabies, goannas, sugar gliders, ibis, swans and swamphens. Guests are free to roam the property at their leisure.
Each property is individually bookable by clicking the links/photos below, and should you wish to book the whole place with all 5 Villas, the click on the "Estate" link/photo below. You can also use the date search bar available to see which Rooms are available for your preferred dates.
We are part of the Sweetwater area of the Hunter Valley. Each owner in the area was given the opportunity to name their property and rumour has it that the previous owners did not submit their application in time. Block Eight was applied to the nameless property arbitrarily and well, it’s just kind of stuck.
We hope you enjoy visiting Block Eight and fall in love with it, the same we way did.
