Elderslie House was once part of the old school in Elderslie and has been lovingly converted to a stylish self-contained country house for up to 16 guests, and offers a relaxing location for your next visit to Hunter Valley Wine Country. With 6 air-conditioned bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, generous living areas, wood burning fire, refreshing inground pool plus a large air-conditioned games room with pool table and table tennis, free WiFi, this two-storey Western Red Cedar property has absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay.
Elderslie House is a 5-minute drive to Pierres and Fairview vineyards and is 10-minute drive to the great restaurants and cellar doors on Wine Country Drive and the famous Vintage Golf Course.
Elderslie House features French doors that open onto wide wrap around verandahs on both levels with views of the beautiful gardens, pool area and surrounding countryside. The ground floor has a fabulous open plan modern kitchen dining and sitting area with a large refectory table and a wood burning fire.
The master bedroom and main bathroom are also located on the ground floor.
There is a stunning large lounge area on the first floor plus three spacious bedrooms, all with modern ensuites. The other two bedrooms plus the fifth bathroom and laundry are in the studio which is located just outside the main house and is a 2-minute walk via a fully covered walkway. The upstairs lounge also has a quality sofa bed which can be used for extra guests. All areas and bedrooms have air-conditioners for convenience and year-round comfort.
Elderslie House’s kitchen boasts every cooking utensil you would ever need to cook up a storm plus a large BBQ on the deck. It also has lots of undercover entertainment areas on the verandahs and on the old schoolyard.
There is also an enclosed dog run for your furry friend with its own dog house.
All areas and bedrooms have air-conditioners, making it the perfect location all year round. The Royal Federal Hotel in Branxton has great pub food and runs a shuttle service to and from the property.

This is a 6 bedroom house sleep maximum 16 guests or 12 guests in individual beds.
Bedroom 1 – Kookaburra – 1 King Bed or 2 King singles – another single bed on request. Main bathroom is next door.
Bedroom 2 – Kingfisher – 1 King bed or 2 King singles with ensuite
Bedroom 3 – Corella – 1 King bed or 2 King singles with ensuite
Bedroom 4 – Falcon – 1 Queen bed with ensuite
King sofa bed in the lounge (can be split into 2 singles) available on request
Bedroom 5 – Rosella – 1 King bed or 2 singles plus one King single bed, use of studio bathroom
Bedroom 6 – Lorikeet – 1 Queen bed, use of studio bathroom
We have baby cots and a high chair is available on request.
Linen Supplied - This property supplies all linen - full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay.
The Minimum Booking price is based on up to 10 guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter in the required number of guests. Any guest number reductions are non-refundable.
Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.
All reservations operate under a strict No-Party & excessive noise policy as this property is in a residential area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy.
Pools: If the property has a Swimming Pool then it will be open for swimming for the September NSW School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays has completed.
Fires and Firewood : If the property has a Wood fireplace or Firepit then firewood will be provided after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays has commenced.
Guest Registration : Before guests are able to access the property, we will require an online ID check (scan drivers license) and also a visual Credit Check (scan credit card). The names on the ID and CC must match the name of the guest. The Guest Registration Document that we ask the guest to sign is a PCI compliant, encrypted and totally secure and trusted process, now used by 75,000 guests. This process is consistent and similar to what Hotels require for for ID prior to allowing access to a room.
Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2021.
